When does my eSIM data package expire?
Validity is measured from activation, not from the date you buy. Each package lists its window on the plan page and again under My eSIMs.
How the clock starts
The countdown begins the first time your eSIM connects to a network at your destination. Until then, the plan simply waits — buying ahead of a trip is safe.
Typical windows
- Short-stay plans: 7 to 15 days of validity.
- Extended plans: 30 days or more.
- Whichever comes first — the day limit or the data allowance — ends the plan.
You can watch remaining data and days at any time under My eSIMs, and top up before the window closes.
